Logistic Manager

Responsibilities:

• Working as a Transportation Driver/Logistics Manager for local Trucking Company
• Hands on in the day-to-day operation
• Daily driver interaction, including dispatching, freight finding, etc.
• Utilize freight broker boards, DAT being one of the most recognized
• ELD experience, Omnitracs currently being utilized
• After hours on call rotation once every 3 weeks, $100 additional pay (includes Sat/Sun).
• Monday Friday schedule.
• Day shift hours

Benefits:

• Pay rate is $45,000- $65,000/ Annual, Company matches the first 3% at 100%

Qualifications:

• Proficient computer skills, strong knowledge of McLeod Dispatch software or comparable system and Microsoft programs.
• Strong knowledge of FMCSA rules, focused on HOS.
• 3-5 years of Transportation, Logistics, and or/combination of Trucking experience preferred.
• Freight finding capabilities utilizing broker boards with a proven track record is a MUST.
• Map reading skills and geographical understanding of service areas.
• Detail oriented and Organizational skills a MUST.
• Ability to listen to and understand ideas and information presented verbally or in writing.
• Capable of working independently
• Ability to understand your role as it relates to company expectations and goals.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain a professional disposition at all times.
• Excellent leadership skills
• Strong rate negotiation skills
• Ability to take calls after hours on a rotating schedule which will include the weekend on your individual week.
• High school diploma/GED is required.
• CDL a plus
• Clean MVR and background
• ZERO TOLERANCE DRUG/ALCOHOL

The pay range outlined herein is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.
