Truck Driver

Responsibilities

  • Follow instructions.
  • Read location and road maps.
  • Pre-inspection of truck and trailer.
  • Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.
  • Load and unload cargo.
  • Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance.
  • Comply with safe work practices, policies, and processes/procedures at all times.
  • Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Knowledge of traffic laws and DOT regulations.
  • Two (2) years of truck driving experience is required.
  • Pallet jack experience is required; forklift experience preferred.
  • Able to pass a background check, annual physicals and annual/random drug testing.
  • Clean driving record without DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven (7) years.
  • Good human relations skills, strong listening and verbal communication skills are required.

Compensation & Benefits
