The Service Driver performs multiple tasks related to pick up and delivery of customer equipment, preventative maintenance, and repair of heavy-duty trucks. You will work in a shop environment during non-drive times to assist on work orders performing mechanical job functions.
ResponsibilitiesDrive company vehicles for pickup and delivery.
When not driving, build, rebuild, and repair all parts of trailer equipment to specifications as assigned.
Read and understand job orders ensuring corrective action and the documentation of repair processes to company standards.
Assist other mechanics on work orders and jobs requiring assistance.
QualificationsA valid CDL class A license & DOT medical certification card.
Ability to safely operate and drive commercial class 5-8 trucks.
Ability to use tools to work on mechanical repairs and perform preventative maintenance task.
Ability to install parts requiring the ability to lift up to 50Ibs.
A favorable background screening, DMV driving record, physical and drug screening, and proof of work authorization in the United States is required for employment.
